Sunil Grover was born on 3 August 1977 in Sirsa, Haryana, India. From a young age, he showed a natural inclination towards performing arts and entertainment. He completed his schooling in Haryana and later pursued higher education at Guru Nanak College before moving to Chandigarh to study theater at Panjab University. The time spent in Chandigarh played an important role in shaping his acting skills, as he actively participated in stage performances and developed a strong foundation in acting and comedy.

Sunil Grover's journey in the entertainment industry was not an overnight success. Like many aspiring actors, he too had to face struggles and slowly work his way up. He started his career with small roles and appearances on television. One of his early successes came from the show "Gutthi", where he began experimenting with unique comic characters.
