 Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is one of the largest and most important energy companies in India. It plays an important role in the production, refining, transportation and marketing of petroleum products across the country. The government has also used the Indane network to implement social welfare schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, which provides free LPG connections to economically weaker families. The lubricants division of the company produces a wide range of engine oils and industrial lubricants under the SERVO brand. Servo lubricants are widely used in automobiles, industrial machines and heavy vehicles, making them an important product range for the company.
